Day 1 | Arrival in Entebbe

Upon arriving at Entebbe International Airport, you will be met by our representative who will transfer you to your hotel for an overnight stay

Day 2 | Mabamba & Lake Mburo National Park

Today you will have an early morning birding experience in Mabamba Swamp, the swamp is a great birding attraction with a recorded 300 bird species, popular birds in the area include; Yellow-breasted Apalis, Weyn’s Weaver, Village Weaver, Vieillot’s Black Weaver, Grey-capped Warbler, Yellow-throated Greeenbul, Splendid Starling and more.

You will later drive to Lake Mburo National, one of Uganda's smallest yet rewarding national parks, the park boasts an estimated 310 bird species, you will enjoy a brief game drive as you proceed to the lodge.

Day 3 | Birding & Boat Cruise

Today you will enjoy a guided nature walk with an experienced Ranger in search of bird species in the park, popular birds sighted in the area include; Rufous-bellied Heron, Bateleur, Coqui Francolin, Grey Crowned Crane, Black-bellied Bustard, Brown-chested Lapwing, Emerald-spotted Wood-Dove, Brown Parrot and so much more.

In the afternoon, you will enjoy a boat cruise on the lake in search of water birds and aquatic wildlife like hippos and crocodiles.

Day 4 | Birding in Lake Bunyonyi

Today you continue south of Uganda to Lake Bunyonyi also dubbed as "Uganda's Switzerland", you will enjoy and afternoon birding experience on the lake with a specialist Guide, popular birds in the area include; grey crowned cranes, levillant cuckoo, white tailed monad, slender-billed baglafetch, weavers, African harrier hawk, egrets, cardinal woodpecker, grey crowned cranes, African king fisher and more.

Day 5 | Birding in Rushaga

You will drive to Rushaga in Bwindi for a birding experience on the boundaries of Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, the area is home to bird species like the; Grey cuckoo shrike, Finely banded woodpecker, Bar-tailed trogon, Kivu ground, African wood owl, African green broadbill, Green tinker bird and more.

Day 6 | Gorilla trekking and optional Birding

Today you embark on a trekking experience in search of the famous mountain gorillas, you will be lead by an experienced Ranger into the dense forest. Time allowing you will proceed to enjoy a birding experience in the area. popular birds in the area include; African green pigeon,  African harrier hawk , Cinnamon-chested bee-eater, Crowned hornbill, Giant kingfisher.

Day 7 | Queen Elizabeth National Park

After a warm breakfast, you drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park, the park is Uganda's most diverse wildlife places with amazing ecosystems, the park is home to over 600 bird species.

You will enjoy a night game drive in the park in search of wildlife, the park is home to the big five like Hippos, Lions, Buffalos, Elephants, and Leopards.

Day 8 | Queen Elizabeth and Rwenzori National Park

After a warm breakfast, you will embark on a game drive where you will explore the various bird species in the area such as the; Collared pratincole, Palm-nut vulture, Pel's fishing-owl, Shoebill, Swamp flycatcher and more. You will also sight wildlife in their natural habitat such as the kobs, antelopes, elephants, buffaloes, and so much more.

In the afternoon, you will head out for a launch cruise on the Kazinga channel where you will enjoy viewing the resident water animals in their natural habitat, you will have the opportunity to explore amazing wildlife such as Hippos, Nile Crocodile, stunning water birds and visiting buffaloes, elephants and so much. You will later transfer to Rwenzori National park for an overnight.

Day 9 | Birding in Rwenzori National Park

Today you will go on a birding experience in Rwenzori park in search of resident birds in the area, the park is home to an estimated Rwenzori Turaco, Barred Long-tailed Cuckoo, Long-eared Owl, Handsome Francolin, Cinnamon-chested Bee-eater, Archers' Robin-chat, White-starred Robin, Rwenzori Batis, Montane Sooty.

You will later transfer to Kibale Forest National Park for yet another primate and birding experience.

Day 10 | Birding at the boundaries of Kibale Forest

Today you will go birding at the boundaries of the park also named "Julia's place", you will be led by a Local Guide.

In the afternoon, you will spend time birding in the famous Bigodi Wetland in search of bird species in the area, bird species include;

Day 11 | Birding in Kibale and Semuliki National Park

You will go on birding trek in search of bird species in the forest, the park is home to an estimates 350 bird species, notable bird species in the area include; Green-breasted pitta which is the most sought after, African Pitta, Abyssinian ground thrush, Crowned eagle, Dusky crimsoning, Collared appalis, Black-capped appalis, Black bee-eater and more.

In the afternoon, you will drive to Semuliki National Park, one of Uganda's finest birding spots, the park is home to an estimated 400 bird species.

Day 12 | Full day birding in Semuliki National Park

You will spend the day in search of bird species in the park, you will also have the opportunity to see other wildlife in their natural habitat, the park is home to African buffalo, leopard, hippopotamus, mona monkey, water chevrotain, bush babies, African civet, African elephant and more.

Day 13 | Masindi Town

You will transfer by road to Masindi town for an overnight.

Day 14 | Royal Mile birding

Today you will go birding at the Royal Mile reserve, there are several bird species within the Royal Mile budongo forest. And 2 species are endemic to the trail-the Illadopsis puveli and the yellow-footed flycatcher and other numerous species endemic to the Albertine Rift region.

Day 15 | Birding in Budongo Forest

You will spend the day birding in Budongo Forest, one of Uganda's oldest forest but also home to a big number of bird species, popular birds to lookout for include the; white-breasted, Sooty chat, Isabelline wheatear, Black lured and Brown babblers, Nubian woodpecker, Arrow marked, Barbets, Rollers, Harriers, Vultures, Eagles, Yellow-throated Greenbul, white-fronted Black Chat and more.

Day 16 | Game drive and Boat cruise

After breakfast, you will enjoy an early morning game drive in Murchison Falls National Park, you will get an opportunity to see wildlife in their natural habitat, popular wildlife include; elephants, lions, buffalos, antelopes, hartebeest and more.

In the afternoon, you will head out for a launch cruise on the Albert Nile where you will enjoy viewing the resident water animals in their natural habitat, you will have the opportunity to explore amazing wildlife such as Hippos, Nile Crocodile, stunning water birds and visiting buffaloes, elephants and so much.

Day 17 | Delta boat ride

A delta boat ride on Albert Nile in search of water birds in the area, look out for birds like the; Goliath Heron, Great Egrets, African fish Eagles and the rare shoebill among others.

Day 18 | Drive to Entebbe

Today you drive back to Entebbe concluding your birding safari.
